    iCloud and CloudKit

    - Bardly uses Apple's CloudKit service to store and sync your data. This means:

    - Your personal writings are stored in your private iCloud database and are only accessible to you

    - Publicly shared writings are stored in a public database accessible to other Bardly users

    - Your data is protected by Apple's security measures and your Apple ID credentials

    - Data syncs across your devices signed into the same iCloud account

    Data Retention

    Your writing content remains stored as long as you maintain an active account. You may delete individual entries at any time through the App. If you delete the App or your account, your private data will be removed in accordance with Apple's CloudKit data retention policies.

    Subscriptions and Payments

    Bardly offers premium subscriptions at $1.99/month or $10.99/year. All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details or billing information. Apple's terms and privacy policy govern all subscription transactions.

    We receive confirmation of your subscription status to provide you with premium features, but we do not receive your financial information.

    Social Features and Shared Content

    Bardly includes optional social features that allow you to:

    - Share selected writings publicly with other users

    - Follow other users and view their shared writings

    - Build a community around reflective writing

    Important: When you share a writing publicly, it becomes visible to other Bardly users. Only share content you are comfortable making public. Your private, unshared writings remain visible only to you.

    You can control your social presence by:

    - Choosing which individual writings to share or keep private

    - Managing your followers and who you follow

    - Adjusting your profile visibility settings

    Third-Party Services

    The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

    Children's Privacy

    Bardly is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete such information.
